Barbie also shows up as the female counterpart of the Dark Knight, Batgirl.
Although she never really rose to the level of Batman, like Supergirl, she has her own very loyal fan base.
Unlike Wonder Woman and Supergirl, Batgirl was created in 1966 and was a collaboration between DC and the Batman television series that was going on at the time.
