The DC Comics Bombshells franchise in 2011, when DC Collectibles ran across Ant Lucia’s prints that depicted DC superheroines as pin-up girls.
They started out as statues, then became variant covers designs, then they moved into actual DC online comic books themselves.
And the fans love them.
